TMS treatment strengthens neural pathways in the brain that influence thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

TMS is FDA cleared for treating depression and OCD.

When experiencing a mental health condition or a mood disorder the brain’s ability to regulate emotions may not function at full capacity.

This can result in signals along the neural pathways that normally regulate mood, emotions and/or thoughts not working properly.

TMS treatment works by sending short magnetic pulses to exactly the areas of the brain that you want to treat – stimulating and activating neural pathways and restoring the emotional control center.

TMS is non-invasive and well tolerated by the vast majority of patients. The person receiving TMS is awake during the treatment and can return to normal activities immediately after (no medication or anesthesia is required).

Treatment time can range from five minutes to 60 minutes, depending on the type of therapy. A typical course of treatment is approximately 6 weeks.

TMS therapy may offer an alternative treatment option for patients who do not respond well to medication or are unable to tolerate it. Studies suggest that combining TMS therapy with counseling or psychotherapy may lead to improved outcomes.

Heather’s Journey

Welcome to Atarah’s Joules:

The TMS Club, where hope begins and transformation unfolds.

Founded by Heather Atarah Cohen in 2025.

Her journey was inspired by a deeply personal experience in 2024.

Malikia, Heather’s son, struggles with severe non-verbal Autism.

One day in August 2024, a friend sent Heather a YouTube video of a child similar to Malikia that underwent TMS therapy. The results were nothing short of a miracle. The child displayed objective noticeable cognitive and social behavior improvement.

This incredible progress inspired Heather to explore the therapy further, delving into podcast, peer reviewed studies, and literature like PEMF the Fifth Element of Health by Bryant A. Meyers.

Soon after, Heather contacted multiple different TMS clinics looking for a specific clinic that treated Autism with TMS. When she finally found a single clinic near her that would treat her son, she immediately booked a consultation.

At the consultation, her son was found to be a viable candidate for the treatment.

Even though the treatment was far above the cost she could afford, she decided that she was committed to figure out any away possible to pay the price.

Heather and a friend applied for care credit and together they were approved for the necessary amount of $12,000

Heather’s son Malikia began the treatment September 2024. On the first day of the treatment:

Malikia began co-playing with his siblings.
Malikia swung on a swing like a neurotypical child.
MalikiaToe-walking and screaming reduced significantly.
Malikia Affection increased.

Early in December of 2024 Heather was trained and certified by Mag Venture to be a TMS Specialist.

On Dec. 31, 2024 Malikia said “Love you”

After believing she will never experience the gift of verbal affection from her son. And now to have been granted this gift, Heather became moved and motivated, vowing to help other Parents experience this great gift at a more affordable price.

Safety Information

Cortical Stimulation (on the head)

Minor scalp pain, headache and burning sensation in the area of stimulation are the most commonly reported side effects during and after TMS treatment. However, these side effects are transient and will usually resolve immediately or within the first week of therapy. In rare cases seizures may occur, but the risk is very low (less than 0.1% per patient) when treatment is performed according to the safety recommendations for TMS therapy. (Reference: Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs))

Peripheral Stimulation (on the body)

Minor pain and tingling at the stimulation site are the only known side effects of stimulation outside the cortical area.

Contraindications

The TMS Therapy system creates a magnetic field that could cause metal objects near the stimulation coil to move or get hot. Patients with non–removable magnetic-sensitive metals or metallic devices implanted in their head or in body parts near the stimulation coil could experience side effects from the treatment and should not receive therapy.
